Revitol Stretch Mark Prevention Review
I know I have given lots of advice, tips, and recommendations on how to lose weight in this blog and that all of my recommended weight loss procedures and products have proven themselves effective. At the very least, they worked for me and I believe they also worked for the readers who mailed me and told me their own success stories. But I admit that I have been remiss in one aspect of weight loss: The development of stretch marks.
There is such a stigma with pregnancy and stretch marks that people have come to think that they are mutually inclusive of each other, which is not true. For one thing, even single, adolescent women may develop stretch marks as a result of rapid and sudden weight loss. They usually form when underlying tissue growth is much faster than the skin layers that cover it, resulting in small cracks or tears in the epidermal surface, followed by unsightly scar tissue growth, which is basically what a stretch mark is.
This recently came to my mind and I decided to look for a product that will help prevent stretch marks from developing, especially since most of the weight loss products and procedures I recommended in the past tend to work in faster than normal ways.
After a certain amount of researching products and reading reviews, I came across Revitol’s Stretch Mark Prevention cream. It is a squalene oil-based cream that contains vitamin E and grapefruit seed extract, which aims to reinforce the collagen and elastin found deep in the lower epidermis. If that description seems a little jargon-ish to you like it did to me at first, it basically means that this cream makes your skin stronger and more elastic, effectively toning skin that may have developed ugly stretch marks as a result of sudden weight loss.
I’ve tried Revitol’s Stretch Mark Prevention cream on my lower abdomen area since I have a few stretch marks in there, which people haven’t noticed yet because I tend to wear clothes that hide them effectively. I had my reservations at first because I thought this was only meant for women who have just given birth and that they won’t do anything for existing stretch marks, but I was surprised to see a positive effect in as short as 3 weeks of applying the cream thrice a day. It seems that Revitol’s Stretch Mark Prevention cream works even for existing stretch marks, since mine started getting thinner and some parts of it are already gone, and it looks like it doesn’t have any negative side effects – no discolorations or rashes whatsoever.
I can honestly recommend Revitol’s Stretch Mark Prevention Cream to women who are expecting a baby or women who plan on losing weight. And, as my personal experience suggests, it also helps women who already have stretch marks from a previous pregnancy or due to losing weight. I’m still using it right now to prevent future stretch marks from ever developing.

i’ve purchased revitol but having 2nd thoughts to start applying it.
it contains Vit A, and i know that too much of it can cause birth defects. i mean, aside from the Vit A-rich foods that we preg moms are already recommended to take plus supplements (prenatal multivits prescribed by the doc), do you think it still might be safe to add another source?
